The Meeting for the Friendship Amongst Peoples in Rimini

"These are encounters born from people that share a tension towards what is true, good, and beautiful." That's what creators say of the enormous annual culture festival that's been hugely popular for 38 years. It lasts for the whole 7 days and welcomes more than 100,000 people to showcase stories of men and women through conferences, exhibitions, shows, sporting events.

SkyTechSport-Grelich, our representative in the Netherlands, partnered with Visit Trentino to offer lots of (virtual) fresh snow amidst Italian summer heat. A 24-feet panoramic screen attracted hundreds of those who were already longing for the far-off winter. Lots of them wouldn’t even put their shoes on after another run down a virtual racecourse, — would they join the line again in hope to get into ski or snowboard boots as soon as possible.

What shocked us was the number of requests the Trentino region got from the visitors for the season. On our view, living in Italy and NOT trying alpine sports is almost a crime — but there were lots of people from remote countries who decided to come back for the real thing.
